Alula Aba Nega Airport, also known as Mekelle Airport, is a public airport serving Mekelle, the capital city of the Tigray Region in northern Ethiopia. The airport is located 10 km southeast of the city. In September 2026, Tigrayan forces reportedly seized control of the airport, and Ethiopian Airlines suspended flights to the city.
