Coimbatore International Airport is an international airport and the primary airport serving the Coimbatore Metropolitan Area in Tamil Nadu, India. It is located in the neighborhood of Peelamedu, about 10 km (6.2 mi) from the center of the city. It is the second busiest airport in Tamil Nadu by passengers handled after Chennai International Airport. The airport is served by three Indian and two international carriers providing direct connectivity to nine domestic and two international destinations.
