Yangon International Airport is the primary and busiest international airport of Myanmar. The airport is located in Mingaladon township, 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) north of central Yangon. Many domestic Myanmar carriers and international airlines operate at Yangon International Airport. The airport is also colloquially known as Mingaladon Airport due to its location.
